RULE INFRACTIONS/PENALTIES
1: The following legend of infraction penalties is a guideline used by Wannabe Racing Inc. in accessing penalties. These guidelines are not meant to infer that these are the only possible infractions or penalties that may be assessed against any entrant participating in a Wannabe Racing Inc. sponsored event.

A. Race vehicle traveling on the racecourse in the reverse direction of
the race, at any time: Disqualification.

B. Pit support vehicles traveling on the racecourse at any time: Disqualification.

C. Abusive conduct toward a race official: Disqualification, suspension, one hundred dollar ($100) fine or any combination of the three.

D. Short coursing: Disqualification.

E. Outside assistance anywhere other than in designated pit area. Disqualification.

B. Passing in the scoring schute: 2 Positions

PITS
ABSOLUTELY NO PIT RIDING~~KIDS & ADULTS!!
You may ride your bike to and from the track AT first gear IDLE ONLY for your race ONLY and must wear a helmet at all times. Riders must register for the race before riding their machine anywhere
ANYONE FOUND PLAY RIDING IN THE PITS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT A REFUND-NO EXCEPTIONS.
1: At all times the rider assumes responsibility for the actions of their pit crew members, support crews, and all others associated with their organization. All pitting must be done in the designated pit area, no exceptions. Pit crew members are not allowed on the course. No rider is allowed to carry gasoline except inside his machine’s gasoline tank. No vehicle shall be towed, pushed, pulled or transported by any non-race-entered vehicle on the official course while an event is still in progress. Another race entered vehicle or an official Wannabe Racing Inc. vehicle may push, pull or tow the race-entered vehicle up to the nearest pit stop or checkpoint. Only the vehicle occupant at the time of the breakdown may push the vehicle through the finish line. No other person or persons will be permitted to assist in pushing, pulling or towing the vehicle. Wannabe Racing Inc.officials may assist the vehicle occupants if it is deemed necessary for the protection of the entrants.
2: Any pit support vehicle running on or near the racecourse will result in the entrant being disqualified. Any pit vehicle running backwards on the racecourse will cause race vehicle to be disqualified.
3: All pits must have the equivalent of a UL approved 20-lb. ABC fire extinguisher at all times; the extinguisher(s) must be manned during all pit stops.
4: All young children and pets must be kept out of the pit area.. Pets must be kept on a leash. All campfires must be kept out of immediate pit area. Campfires may not be permitted due to federal and state regulations.
5: All entrants are responsible for cleaning the pit areas they use during the event.
6: Any Pit crew members disregarding these rules will subject their rider to disqualification.
TECHNICAL INSPECTION

1: IT IS THE ENTRANTS’, RIDERS’, OWNERS’. AND SPONSORS’ FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO MEET ALL Wannabe Racing Inc. RULES AND REGULATIONS.

2:  ENTRANTS MUST MAKE ALL REASONABLE EFFORT TO ARRIVE TO STAGING A MINIMUM OF 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO START OF RACE.

3:  Wannabe Racing Inc. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SUBJECT ANY VEHICHLE TO A MECHANICAL INSPECTION AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TECHNICAL INSPECTOR. IN THE EVENT OF A MECHANICAL INSPECTION, THE RIDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING OR REPAIRING THE REQUESTED ITEMS TO BE INSPECTED AS DIRECTED. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF ENTRANT AND VEHICHLE, AND MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION FROM FUTURE Wannabe Racing Inc. SPONSORED EVENTS.


Year end awards:You must compete in at least 50% of the races during that year and be in the top 33% of your class.

There will be 1 drop for the 2010 season.  The best 5 out of 6 races will count for year end results.  This will apply for all classes (including Pros).

There will be no drops allowed for the Pro class for the 2011 season.

Team Class Rules:

  • You can have up to 3 team members
  • Each person must have their own transponder
  • You don't have to ride the same bike.
  • You must transfer a object of Webe's (to be determined) between riders in the pit area
  • You can only run one lap at a time.  One rider will not be allowed to run multiple laps in a row.
  • 2 hour race
  • $40 per person
